ACT 1- Girl is a dancer preparing for a competition, goes out late at night gets into car crash
ACT 2- She is bullied becomes depressed and isolates herself, cuts off most friendships
ACT 3- She sees other girls dancing realises she has to live with it and becomes a dance teacher.

5) What is unique about this film?
Disability is a theme

6) How does it target; Males, Females and young people?
Males= car crash
Females= dancers
Young People= Use of social media

7) How will you show sophistication in sound?
Have the music and speech build up and get very loud then all of a sudden it silences and you hear a heart monitor. Then a slower song comes in.

8) How will you show sophistication in editing?
Have a lot of short quick shots in order to fasten the pace then have it cut to a black screen to show a stop and emphasise the crash.

9) How will you show sophistication in cinematography?

10) How will you show sophistication in Mise en Scene?

11) How will the font and animation of your titles reflect the style of the character?

TRAILER LINK STATEMENT OF INTENT My film is unique due to disability not being a highly used theme in the film industry.  My film has many aspects that appeal to all audiences. For example, to appeal to male audiences it has the element of disaster within the car crash scene. Also, it applies to females due to the main character being a female dancer. Lastly, young people would want to see my film due to the coming of age element of it, and how they can relate to it.  Sophistication in sound is shown by adding homo-diegetic sound in the form of a voiceover. This is then followed by the diegetic sound of the car skidding and crashing into the other. Non-diegetic sound then comes in as the sound of the thunder is heard only by the audience not the characters. Diegetic sound is then layered on top towards the end of the thunder clip and the sound of a heart rate monitor comes in. More diegetic sound then plays when the music starts to play again. All...

(anything read or seen in the case of movies) Therefore no film exists on its own and consciously or not all films borrow ideas from other films, past or present. Nothing exists on its own. To the right is an example of this. Who is intertextuality important to? writers directors audience Family guy and The Simpsons are two TV programs that like to use intertextuality. But they use it in a more comedic way to gain humour from their audiences.
